The weight loss industry thrives on yearly resolutions, beach body/bikini diets, spring cleanses, losing 12 lbs in a week, Hollywood diets, transformation challenges, and the rest that add up to temporary results. Yes it is about the latest fad diet, this or that "super food", this "one little trick", the "only exercise" you'll ever need, fat "dissolving" injections, "non-invasive" surgery, and so on and so on. Unfortunately this $80 billion weight loss industry does not have your best interest in mind (which should be your health).
Excess body fat is a symptom of something not working right in your body. Whether the issue is primarily hormonal, auto-immune, digestive, poor diet, poor sleep, binge eating, excessive appetite, lack of exercise, or whatever else you have been told I am here to tell you that it is likely multi-faceted. A healthier body has an easier time losing weight than an unhealthy body - you don't need science to tell you this - this is common sense.
So, don't just focus on the "symptom" (the weight) but the causes. Focus on fixing your health issues and the stubborn weight will likely become a non-issue .
